Returns and Warranties

BY PURCHASING PARTS AND SERVICES FROM US, EITHER BY TELEPHONE OR DIRECTLY FROM THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE OUTLINED BELOW.

WARRANTIES

We offer a limited warranty on most parts, allowing for a one-time free replacement within 30 days of purchase, except parts sold on an "As Is" basis. If the part fails within this period, CarPartsOnNet will replace it or, at our discretion, refund the purchase price excluding shipping charges. The warranty applies to the part only and does not cover shipping or labor costs. Failures caused by abuse, damage, or installation errors are not covered. Extended warranties may be available for purchase on many parts.

Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable.

ELECTRICAL PARTS

Electrical parts are non-refundable. Electrical parts include all car computers, modules, pumps, throttle bodies, speedometers and any automotive part that requires car electrical power to operate. Electrical parts are covered under our one-time replacement only warranty as long as we determine that the failure is not caused by abuse, damage or error in installation and assembly. An electrical part cannot be returned or refunded due to programming related issues. Please make sure that the part you are purchasing is programmable and you have the resources to have it programmed for your application. We will send a replacement part only after receipt and acceptance of the original part.

Exchanges and Returns Process

Contact Customer Care: If you experience any issues, contact our Customer Care at Customercare@carpartsonnet.com upon receipt of the part. A representative will open a trouble ticket and work with you to resolve the issue, potentially escalating it to a technical advisor if needed. Timely responses to our inquiries ensure issues are resolved within the warranty period.

Receive an RMA: If a return is authorized, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) with instructions. Use the provided address and consider using the original packaging with a tracking number, as customers are responsible for any damage or loss during shipping. Supplying your tracking information expedites processing.

Returns without an RMA will not be accepted and void the warranty.

RETURNS

We will cover shipping and replacement for any defective or incorrect items shipped due to our error within the first 10 days after receipt. After 10 days and for the remainder of the warranty period, customers are responsible for return shipping. A replacement part will be shipped once the original part is received and accepted. To expedite, a replacement can be shipped before receiving the original, with an additional charge that is refunded upon return and acceptance of the first part. If a replacement is unavailable, we will issue a refund.

We rely on the manufacturer’s information and specifications provided by you to locate the appropriate replacement part. It is your responsibility to verify the order details immediately. If the replacement part does not match your vehicle’s part, we will attempt to resolve it but assume no responsibility for non-standard applications.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be canceled within two hours at no charge if the part has not been shipped. Cancellations after two hours are subject to a 25% cancellation fee (minimum $25). Cancellations or changes cannot be accepted after the part has shipped.

We process orders promptly upon receipt, aiming for swift shipment, but cannot be responsible for delays outside our control, including parts still on vehicles that require removal and inspection. Delays or errors in order processing and shipment cannot be used to justify order cancellations.
